AGRIS 17.3.0 includes the pilot for the MSSQL Audit project.  The Audit provides the following benefits to AGRIS users on MSSQL by leveraging the Change Data Capture functionality in Microsoft SQL Server and the Greenstone Quantum platform.

  1. Improve flexibility to comply with corporate auditing and security policies.
  2. Provide the ability to perform forensic analysis on who modified certain data and when.

The user may:

1. Configure to enable tracking of any relational table / column for recording changes. 
2. Inquire on tracked tables / columns. 
3. Export inquiry results to Excel.

2938: AGRIS Database Relational Model - System Support tables added for Greenestone Audit Tracking

The Greenstone Audit Tracking system is available for organizations running on Miscrosoft SQL Server database engine.  For the 17.4 release, additional data elements have been added to the AGRIS SQL Server relational database model in order to track individual database changes user-by-user to the following data entities:

  1. Document Number setup
  2. Processing Dates
  3. Reporting Dates
  4. Initialized Packages
  5. Data Replication Sites
  6. Dataset Definition
  7. Date Assignments
  8. Email and Proxy Setup
  9. Report Output Defaults
  10. Security Configuration
  11. System Configuration
  12. User Security Settings

This enhancement provides the ability to track and record changes that occur to security, dataset configuration and general AGRIS setup changes. 


AGS-2939: AGRIS Database Relational Model - System Journal Interface and General Ledger tables added for Greenestone Audit Tracking

The Greenstone Audit Tracking system is available for organizations running on Miscrosoft SQL Server database engine.  For the 17.4 release, additional data elements have also been added to the AGRIS SQL Server relational database model in order to track individual database changes user-by-user to the following data entities:

  1. General Ledger Accounts
  2. Execution IDs
  3. Execution ID Budgets
  4. Execution Work Files
  5. Execution ID Descriptions
  6. Journal Periods
  7. System Account Mapping

This enhancement provides the ability to track and record changes that occur to SJI account mappings, Journal periods, Journal entries and SJI setup areas.
