If you're a power user , or have been granted access through user security. The next thing , the next step is for the system administrator can to check is the company table security.

Microsoft Dynamics GP>>Tools>>Smartlist Builder>>Security>>SQL Table SecurityTo do this in Microsoft Dynamics GP:

  1. Go to Tools > Smartlist Builder > Security > SQL Table Security.

  2. Enter your system password.

  3. Select your database on the left.

  1. Choose the tables you wish to grant access for that company

  1. on the right. You can select tables or views.

[Note: Further security can be setup set up per user in user security using roles and tasks.]

Most of these should default to access when installed. However, however if you create Smartlists SmartLists using tables from a third-party product, it may not have defaulted to allow access to the third-party product tables.

This Importantly, this does not change alter your user security settings. A power user will still be able to use the SmartlistSmartList, and only those with the correct user securities.
