  1. In order to improve performance when viewing a large amount of data in a grid, AGRIS presents a "window" into the data defined by an index rather than loading the entire set.  The default sort order for these grids is based on one of the indices.  When using the spreadsheet button, AGRIS will try to load all records rather than just the "window."  If there are more than 2500 records, the user will see the following message:
    1. If the user clicks Clicking "Yes" the spreadsheet will be created from creates a spreadsheet with the currently loaded records.  It will not contain all the records requested.  For instance, if there are 10,000 name ids in the system that the user is trying to load into the spreadsheet, clicking "Yes" will result in a spreadsheet containing only the first 2500 name ids.  It is this case that leads to the note  described above.
    2. If the user clicks Clicking "No" creates a spreadsheet with the remaining records will be loaded and the spreadsheet will be created using the complete set of data.  This could take a significant amount of time depending on the amount of data requestedavailable.
    3. If the user clicks Clicking "Cancel" then stops the spreadsheet generation process will stop and the returns the user will be returned to the grid.
  2. These indices are chosen based on the most common and useful orders for each set of data.  They are not present for every set of data as each one consumes valuable system resources, memory, disk space, etc.
