This page describes enhancements made CINCH’s Require Ticker to Post Purchase/Sales Contracts settings within Item Extension Maintenance.  It allows Purchase and Sales contracts to post without a ticker if the contract does not have a net price.  However, once it is fully priced, the contract price records must have a ticker to post.

Description

Open Item Extension Maintenance

Go to: Cards > Inventory > Item > Additional > Item Extensions

Mark Require Ticker to Post Purchase Contract checkbox to always require a Ticker to post a purchase contract or purchase contract price record.

  1. Use the Require Ticker to Post Purchase Contract expansion button, only enabled when Require Ticker to Post Purchase Contract checkbox is checked, to open the Purchase Contract Exception Tickers window.  Mark the contract types that only require a ticker when a net price exists.

    1. Unchecked Contract Types WILL require a ticker to post purchase contracts and purchase contract price records.

    2. Checked Contract Types WILL NOT require a ticker to post unpriced purchase contracts BUT WILL require a ticker to post purchase contract price records.

The Post/Save function within these windows will check the require ticker settings within Item Extension Maintenance.
