    1. Max Weight Enter the maximum overweight amount this vehicle is allowed to carry.

    2. Expiration Date enter the date this vehicle overweight permit expires.

Description

Open Inbound Scale Ticket Entry or Bulk Ticket Entry

Go to: Transactions > Cinch Grain > Purchases/Inbound > Scale Tickets > Scale Ticket Entry or Bulk Ticket Entry

Overweight warning rules will be applied once the user enters a Scale Gross weight after a Vehicle ID is added/change or a Scale Gross weight exists, and a Vehicle ID is added/changed. 

  1. If a vehicle ID is empty, the system will not validate weight.

  2. If a vehicle ID exists, the system will check for a capacity weight.

    1. If no capacity weight exists, no warning will be given.

    2. If a capacity weight exists, the system will compare the gross weight on the ticket to the capacity weight.

      1. If Gross weight is less than or equal to the capacity weight, no warning will be given.

      2. If Gross weight is greater than the capacity, the system will check for a Max Weight.

        1. If no Max Weight, warn the user that the load is overweight. 

        2. If the Gross weight from the ticket is greater than the Max Weight, warn the user that the load is overweight.

        3. If the Gross weight from the ticket is less than or equal to the Max Weight, the system will check the overweight expiration date on the vehicle.

          1. If the ticket date is greater than the overweight expiration date, warn the user that the load is overweight.

        1. If the ticket weight is less than or equal to the warning weight, no warning will be given.

        2. If the ticket weight is greater than the warning weight, a warning will be given.

    2. If a capacity weight exists, the system will ignore the Outbound Setup warning weight and compare the gross weight on the ticket to the capacity weight

      1. If Gross weight is less than or equal to the capacity weight, no warning will be given.

      2. If Gross weight is greater than the capacity, the system will check for a Max Weight.

        1. If no Max Weight, warn the user that the load is overweight.

        2. If the Gross weight from the ticket is greater than Max Weight, warn the user that the load is overweight.

        3. If the Gross weight from the ticket is less than or equal to the Max Weight, the system will check the overweight expiration date on the vehicle.

          1. If the ticket date is greater than the overweight expiration date, warn the user that the load is overweight.

          2. If the ticket date is less than or equal to the expiration date, no warning will be given.
