What is the Agent Service?

This Agent Service serves as a means of communication between our many products and Agris. This service provides a secure connection from your data on-premise to the cloud and ensures AGRIS can communicate securely and efficiently with Greenstone Mobile and Web applications.

If the agent service on the server goes down, the products below cannot communicate with Agris. These systems of Engagement Include:

• Agris Warehouse App

• Agris Sales Review

• Esign

• MyGrower

• GDH

The Agent is used to do things like import/post bookings, contracts, and inventory changes into Agris. It is also used to pull information out of Agris to the user. This includes things like Inventory Balances, Credit Balances, as well as Prints of Contracts or other transactions.
