The AGRIS 18.1.0 release has added:
AGS-785 (A) Calculate Storage/DP Charges - Ability to set the default options for calculating storage charges
Need to maximize flexibility to charge storage based on your business' rules?
You can now set the default options for storage charges, as shown on the screen below. Prior to this release, both of the storage charge entries below would always default to option 3. With this release, the system will ask if you want to save the new defaults when they are modified on this screen.
Security settings to save the default for the area is available for any user that has a security level of edit or higher for each transaction or event type.
(examples Calculate Storage Charges, Price Contracts, etc...)
AGS-785 (B) Option for the ending storage date to be today's calendar date on Commodity calculation processes
Option 3 has always been labelled as "Today's Date", but it is referring to your current commodity position date.
Option 4 is new and allows you to choose Today's Calendar Date. If your position date is typically 1 day behind the calendar date, then this new option #4 is useful when calculating storage charges up through the actual current calendar date.
This feature is now available in multiple areas of the system:
Navigation: Settlements > Apply From Storage > Enter customer and commodity > select a delivery sheet, apply to a contract, calculate storage charges
Navigation: Contracts > Price A Contract > Choose a DP Contract > Price the contract > calculate DP charges
Navigation: Contracts > Price A Delivery Sheet > Choose a DP Contract > Price the contract > calculate DP charges
Navigation: Storage Charges > Choose Delivery Sheet > Select the delivery sheet > Calculate Charges On This Delivery Sheet
Navigation: Storage Charges > Choose Warehouse Receipt > Select the Warehouse Receipt > Calculate Charges On This Warehouse Receipt
Navigation: Storage Charges > Choose DP Contract > Select the contract > Calculate Charges On This Contract
AGS-3331 Contracts - Ability to apply a Delayed Price (price later) contract to an existing Deferred Payment contract using the Deferred Payment contract price (ability to apply tickets on a delivery sheet from one contract to another)
Minimize the time it takes to move Delayed Price (price later) contracted commodity that is being priced for defer payment onto another existing contract.
In the 'Apply From Storage' option you can now apply DP contracts to other contracts or apply them to spot contracts.
Navigation: Settlements > Apply From Storage > Enter customer and commodity
Selecting Optin 5 to apply form Delayed Price Contract will list availiable DP contracts:
Selecting a DP contract will then provide the options to apply to existing contract or spot contract
