What is Account Receivable used for?

The AGRIS Storage Management System is a modular package in the Agris System Software™ and is designed to work in conjunction with the Agris Commodity Accounting System (GRN)and with oneWeigh™ (ONE), and indirectly with the Agris Inventory Management System (INV).  The Agris Storage Management System maintains a database of varieties and classes of each commodity in designated storage bins at multiple facilities.  The quantities in the storage facilities are updated by shipments recorded in the Agris Commodity Accounting System or in oneWeigh™.  If integrated for invoicing of commodities, the Agris Inventory Management System updates the quantities in the storage facilities by Delivery Ticket Entry and Invoice Entry.

Commonly known as the Bin System, the Agris Storage Management System is also known by its three character abbreviation BIN.
