The Communications (CFT) System module is designed to allow for translation of data into or out of AGRIS to communicate with other systems. This module does this through three unique processes.
Communication
Uses a pre-defined data field definition file & Transaction Tracking data under AGRIS > Utilities > document Tracking to convert and import data and to determine if a record needs to be sent to a third party software.File Translations
Uses a pre-defined data field definition file to process data from 3rd party systems, for example fuel pump systems, so that the data can be imported into AGRIS as a transaction. Uses user-defined reports that use date filters to determine what information is sent back to a third party software.Advanced Graphic Report
Uses a user-defined graphic report to take data from 3rd party software and convert it to a file that can be imported into AGRIS.
