Microsoft Dynamics GP has found an issue when upgrading from GP 18.7.1756 to another version of GP 18.7.

“There was a new table introduced on 18.7, (PM80810) to help save the Vendor Remit Address detail saving to history.  Once you are on 18.7, you post payables batches, and the table populates with the necessary information. However, an issue arose when upgrading again from an 18.7 version. The upgrade process truncated this table instead of upgrading it, resulting in data loss.”

CINCH did not release on GP 18.7.1756 (October), therefore this should not be an issue for CINCH customers.

CINCH 18.62 (Oct24) = GP 18.6.1728 (YE 23)

CINCH 18.70 (YE 24) = GP 18.7.1765 (YE 24)

However if you did upgrade to 18.7.1756 and posted payable batches, then prior to upgrading to 18.7.1765 or later we will want to ensure we have a backup of the PM80810 table so we do not lose any data.

If you were on 18.7.1756 and posted payable transactions then upgraded to 18.7.1765 or later, please reach out to Greenstone Support for assistance:
