The AGRIS 18.3.0 release has added:

AGS-3160: Cancel Contract when defaulting 

Want to:

• When defaulting from an existing contract of any type, the user wishes to have the ability to cancel the default contract (any type) at the time the new contract is created.

This new feature will allow you to:

1. Cancel the default contract at the time it is used to create a new contract.

Navigation to Use:  GRN > Contracts > Contract Maintenance > 1) Add New Contracts

1. Click the Default button.

2. Enter or select the contract to default from.
   1. 
3. If the selected contract has any schedules that are not already canceled or fully applied the user will be asked if they wish to cancel the contract.
   1. 
   2. The default answer is "No."  Selecting "No" will result in the source contract being left unchanged.
   3. Selecting "Yes" will result in the source contract being canceled immediately.  This can not be undone.
   4. The contract creation process will then continue.
