Product Announcement: AGRIS™ Product Suite 18.3.0 is Available!

What are some of the NEW FEATURES and benefits?

Below are a few of the highlights found in AGRIS 18.3.0.  A ReadMe document is available for a full list of the changes.

Various improvements to make the integration with Pennent Mill Manager even better*
  • Maximize accuracy of grain bank and contract balances and reductions from shipments of feed. 
  • Reduce time and effort to record inventory transfers.





Commodity (GRN)




Sign Contracts / Contract Confirmations Electronically* -  AGRIS grain contracts flow to a signature service and notifies your counter party in MyGrower and/or an email that a new contract / confirmation is ready for signature.  Upon signature by the counter party, the electronically signed contract confirmation automatically flows into the AGRIS AttachToo document storage system AND changes the Signed Status flag to signed.

  • Reduce time and expense printing contracts / contract confirmations and stuffing them into envelopes and mailing them to customers.
  • Minimize postage expenses for obtaining signatures on contracts / contract confirmations.
  • Decrease time spent looking for emails associated with counter-party signatures on contracts / contract confirmations.
  • Eliminate the need to mark the Signed Status as Yes for contracts.
  • Simplify the process of viewing signed contracts / contract confirmations.

Ability to Create US Grade Discount Table as an actual Grade Factor

Reduce time and effort to setup and enforce premium and discount calculations relating to a grade criteria (e.g., ability to link the oil content premium to the US Grade).

Group tickets from hold with ticket remarks during application process

Minimize time and effort to identify and select loads to apply to contracts,

Contract Maintenance - ability to default an Offer (Target) contract to a Priced contract with new contract number while cancelling the offer

  • Reduce time and effort to change a Pending contract (offer) to an active priced contract.
  • Maximize accuracy of the contract information via a single step process to transform a Pending contract (offer) into an active priced contract.

Inventory (INV)

Display inventory subitem specifications on Item Maintenance and Inventory Status screens
  • Make it easier to associate inventory balances, such as on hand, committed, etc. to inventory sub-item specifications?
  • Reduce time and effort to see the "Specification" field which commonly contains the lot number?
oneWeigh (ONE)Various enhancements for better automation and auditabilityReduce time and increase ability to evaluate exceptions to normal scale processes.
System Support (SYS)Default the user's assigned printer just like Microsoft does
  • Minimize effort and time to use local, Terminal Server or Citrix printers.
  • Increase flexibility to use a default printer no matter what server you log into?

  • The next AGRIS release will be 18.4.0 with a focus on usability.  It is planned for October 2018.
  • A MOBILE BOOKING APPLICATION is in the pilot testing phase!  The Booking app:
    • Allows sales people to efficiently capture deals / bookings with customers electronically with smart phones or other data enabled devices. 
    • Maximizes timeliness of inventory positions and reduces the risk of losing paper booking transactions. 
    • Displays customer credit information for more timely discussions.
    • Shows on-hand inventory quantities and positions for searched items.
