Name Quick Launch button - View / Edit Name information (like lienholders, ACH on File, Power of Attorney, etc.) via new button to right of "Go", specific to Name/Address (AGS-4577)

Benefits:

Reduce time and effort to see other pertinent information about the customer / counter party.
Reduce mouse clicks to return to current application after looking at Name/Address information.

Details:

This new Name/Address Maintenance quick launch button allows you to:

Launch the Name/Address Maintenance application with a single click.
Returns back to the calling application after exiting the Name/Address Maintenance application.

Navigation to Use:

Display

Name/Address maintenance quick launch button is displayed when the "GO" button is displayed. The quick launch button is displayed to the immediate right of the "GO" button. If user does not have security rights to access name/address maintenance, then quick launch button is displayed in disabled state.

"GO" button is currently displayed in the following applications

A) Accounts Payable - Account Balance Inquiry

B) Accounts Receivable - Account Balance Inquiry

C) Accounts Receivable - Account Balance Inquiry - Customer Summary

D) Commodity Customer Status - Customer Summary

E) Patronage - Account Balance Inquiry

F) Name/Address Maintenance - View/Edit Name Id

G) Accounts Receivable - Payments / Prepayments

H) System Support - Reports - Spooled Forms

I) Commodity Settlements - Produce A Delivery Sheet

J) Commodity Settlements - Apply From Storage

K) Commodity Settlements - Produce A Settlement

L) Commodity Contract - Cancel Contract

M) Commodity Contract - Contract Maintenance

Action - Click Name/Address Quick Launch Button

Clicking the Name/Address maintenance quick launch button immediately launches name/address application and passes current application's name id when available. This behavior is the same as the user clicking the "GO" button and selecting NAM - Name/Address Maintenance - View/Edit Name Id from pop-up menu (Option F).

Return - Exit Name/Address Maintenance and Return to Calling Application

Exiting name/address maintenance will return user to calling application and pass current name/address maintenance name id back to calling application. This behavior is the same as the user clicking the "GO" button and selecting one of the available "GO" launch application options displayed in "Display" section above.
