Problem

June 2020 Cumulative Updates for Windows 10 KB4560960 & KB4557957 causing major issues. Microsoft is aware of the issue and is investigating a fix, but for many Windows 10 users it is severely impacting their ability to print. For AGRIS users, it causes the AGRIS instance to hang when printing graphic reports or forms, and the print job sent to the Printer shows a status of Spooling.

Solution

For users encountering this problem when running AGRIS as a Client or Standalone from Windows 10, it is recommended you check for these updates and if present uninstall them and block them from reinstalling.

UPDATE (8/12/20): Microsoft released 2 updates to address this issue.

KB4560960 indicates the following as a known issue:

Symptom:
After installing this update, certain printers might fail to print. The print spooler might throw an error or close unexpectedly when attempting to print, and no output will come from the affected printer.
You might also encounter issues with the apps you are attempting to print from. You might receive an error from the app or the app might close unexpectedly.
Note This issue might also affect software-based printers, for example printing to PDF.

Workaround: This issue is resolved in KB4567512.
