Warehouse Troubleshooting basics and first steps!

 Problem

Ever wonder how to narrow down what is the problem with so many technologies in the world today? Below are the list of steps to prepare for reporting the issue to the support team.

 Solution

  1. Can you successfully log in?

    1. Check your email address / password combination..

    2. Discuss with another employee or system administrator if others are successfully logged in.

  2. Did the feature used to work and now does not?

    1. When did you last know it used to work?

    2. Did you install an update to the app recently that changed the behavior?

  3. Is the issue happening for one or many devices?

    1. Does it happen on Apple or Android or both?

    2. Are there certain people who can log in and it works just fine?

      1. If you log into the other device that is working using your user id… does it now work for you?

      2. If the user that has a working device logs onto your device do they have the issue?

        1. Confirm your AGRIS Security settings with the AGRIS system administrator.

  4. Is the connection to AGRIS working?

    1. Confirm the agent is working properly by restarting the agent service on the agris server.

  5. Does it happen only in certain locations on the warehouse app or all locations?

  6. Does it happen for all transaction types or just a specific transaction type.
