Restart the AGRIS COM+ Applications

 Problem

At times the AGRIS COM+ Applications can start acting up and need to be shut down so that they can start up again automatically and begin functioning correctly again. As evidence of this needing to be done you might find that services such as the AGRIS-PSQL Agent Web Services or AGRIS-SQL Agent Web Services, required when using MyGrower, AGRIS Sales App, AGRIS Warehouse App, Action List and eSign, are not able to start. Or you may have MyGrower members report that they are unable to see their documents in MyGrower, or users reporting that the Action List Dashboard is not updating. Many problems can start to happen when the AGRIS COM+ Applications begin having issues.

 Solution

This solution should only be used when users are out of AGRIS!
(Failure to do so may result in corrupted transactions!)

To shut down AGRIS COM+ Applications

Using Task Manager on the AGRIS server, scroll and find the processes named COM Surrogate (32 bit)

When you find them, right click each of them and click End Task
