For each client PC on a network:

1. Access the Pervasive Control Center (Start > Programs > Pervasive > Control Center)

2. In the control center, click on the plus next to Pervasive.SQL Engines > > Configuration > Client.  Click the Performance Tuning folder.  On the right-hand side of the window, double-click Use Cache Engine and set it to "Off."

3. Still under the Client section of the Pervasive Control Center, click the folder called Access

4. On the right-hand side of the window, double-click Set Use Local Microkernel Engine and change it to "No."

5. Click the red exclaimation mark (Apply) at the top of the Pervasive Control Center to save changes

6. Click Yes and exit the Pervasive Control Center
