Permissions on the Datasets Share (usually called APPS) on the Database Server may not be correct.

To verify if permissions are correct try the following from a client machine:

• create a text file in the datsets share on the server

• modify a text file in the datsets share on the server

• delete text file in the datsets share on the server

If the above can not be completed, then adjust permissions for the share or user until all three operations complete successfully.
 

Share Permissions for APPS:

• Administrators = Full Control

• Pervasive_Admin = Change and Read

• Services = Change and Read

• Users = Change and Read

Security Permissions for APPS:

• Administrators = Full Control

• Pervasive_Admin = Full Control

• System = Full Control

• Services = Full Control

• Users = Modify, Read& Execute, List Folder Contents, Read, and Write

• also make sure that the padmin user account is not locked. that can cause a basic #0 permissions error
