Error Message: Basic -2147467259 (AeData:clsAeData:AeDBLogin) the file specified is not a Btrieve file (Btrieve Error 30)

When accessing a copied dataset from a Standaloneother location the following error message is displayed:
BASIC #-2147467259 (AeData:clsAeData:AeDBLogin)
[Pervasive][ODBC Client Interface][LNA][Pervasive][ODBC Engine Interface][Data Record Manager]The file specified is not a Btrieve file or was created by a later version of Btrieve.(Btrieve Error 30)

  1. Open the Problem Dataset Folder

  2. ]]>Look for the file:  pvsw.loc

  3. If this file exists the Dataset was accessed during the Copy

  4. Obtain a new copy of the dataset, making sure that it is not accessed during the copy

  5. Replace the Damaged Dataset

NOTE:  If the error appears prior to the Select Dataset screen, it will prevent the workstation from accessing AGRIS.  To access AGRIS from this workstation, delete the workstation from AGRIS. 

  1. From another computer access AGRIS - Customize - Workstations

  2. From the list find the workstation experiencing the problem and select it

  3. Press the Delete key on the keyboard

  4. Select 'Yes' to remove the workstation

  5. Start AGRIS on the problem machine

  6. Select a Valid Dataset

  7. Reconfigure the Workstation Setup (default printers, etc)
