How to make a field required at contract entry time

In the Commodity package, go to setup information, then contract types.

You will need to choose the contract type that you want to make this field required for. (If you want this to be required for all contract types, you will have to choose each type individually).

Next, you must choose either option 2 or option 3. Option 2 is available fields for purchase contracts & Option 3 is available fields for sales contracts.

After selecting the option, you will see a list of all available fields. You need to enter a 2 or 5 next to the field to make it required. Save the change.
