Error Reporting in AGRIS [Quick Tip]

AGRIS has the ability to capture your errors and send a detail record of the error to our defect tracking software.

Sending a report on errors that may occur in AGRIS provides the AGRIS development team with a wealth of information that can help improve the system. Support can also use this to gather more information on the error you have received.

This will not trigger a call to Greenstone’s Customer Support team. You may need to contact Greenstone if you encounter a situation for which you are unable to determine a solution.

How it works: 

When you receive an error (printing, Basic, Pervasive, etc.), the error is always captured in your local AGRIS Error log.

You can also add more information to the error and report it to the AGRIS Development Team electronically.

  1. In the blank white space, describe the events just before the error occurred. Tell the exact steps you were taking when you received the error.

  2. Click <Send Details> at the bottom of the window.

  3. A record will be logged in our defect tracking software for research.

  4. Close out of the AGRIS - Error window to leave the error.

  5. Retry your steps to see if it recreates the same error.

  6. Call into AGRIS support if the error persists.
