How To Reset a User's AGRIS Password If It Expires

In this article, we will go over resetting a password if it expires or is about to expire.

 Instructions

  1. Login into the dataset you want

  2. Enter in your three character ID and password.

  3. Pop up saying “Password is Expired. Reset Now?” or “Password Expires in X Day. Reset Now?”

  4. Click Yes Password Expired and enter Old/Current Password and the New Password to use.

  5. Once the password has been reset, you can login to that dataset with your new password.

 

 

 

 

 

Note: You can only reset your own password if you have the access to do so. To check this access, sign into a dataset and go to Customize- System security- User- General information “Allow User To Change Password” set to Y or N.
