Using Contact Types in ACR for Notes

How to setup and use contact types in ACR for notes or contact information

 

Once setup, contact information/notes are visible through clicking the yellow post-it note icon in AR/GRN inquiry, invoicing, settlements, and/or tickets based on setup in ACR

Setup

  1. ACR > Setup Information > General Information Screen 4 of 4

    1. Define the contact type descriptions and where to have each contact type visible

  1. Once Contact Type Descriptions and Notes Viewable During are set, notes can be added:

    1. Go to ACR > Account Balance Inquiry > Choose the name ID to add notes to > select the ALL line

  1. Choose 12. Contact Information

  1. Choose insert to add new contact information, or edit existing information

  1. When in ACR inquiry, GRN customer summary, invoicing, settlements, or tickets and a name ID has contact types setup, the yellow post-it note icon will be visible. Click the icon to view the notes.
