How to determine if dll files are blocked and unblock them
For Customers with Agents, after completing the steps below, please recycle Agris ABS and restart the Agent Service.
From a command prompt, you can run the following commands to create a blocked.txt file containing the details that will allow you to determine if any of the dll files under the AGRIS folder or subfolders are blocked.
Run Command Prompt
C: (or whichever drive letter AGRIS is installed to as found in the properties of the AGRIS shortcut)
CD\APPS\AGRIS\BIN
DIR *.DLL /R/S > Blocked.txt
CD\APPS\AGRIS\PACKAGES
DIR *.DLL /R/S > Blocked.txt
These commands will have created 2 Blocked.txt files. One in the C:\APPS\AGRIS\BIN folder and another in the C:\APPS\AGRIS\PACKAGES folder. Open those files and search for Zone.Identifier to find the files that are blocked. If you find just a couple files blocked, you can go to the properties of each of those files and easily unblock them. If you find lots of dll files that are blocked, here are the commands to unblock them in mass using Powershell.
The below commands are to be run in Powershell.
Get-ChildItem -Path 'C:\apps\agris\agrisdist\' -Recurse | Unblock-File
Get-ChildItem -Path 'C:\apps\agris\Bin\' -Recurse | Unblock-File
Get-ChildItem -Path 'C:\apps\agris\Packages\' -Recurse | Unblock-File
Simple Alternative to unblock all files under a folder structure
Launch Powershell Command Window
dir c:\apps\agris -Recurse | Unblock-File
done
For Customers with Agents, after completing the steps above, please recycle Agris ABS and restart the Agent Service.
