Payroll (PAY)
What is PAY?
The Agris Payroll Accounting System is a modular package in the Agris System Software™ and may be integrated with other packages in the Agris System Software™ family. If integrated with the Agris Accounts Payable System, payroll-related vouchers may be posted automatically for federal, state, and local tax liabilities.
What is Payroll used for?
The Agris Payroll Accounting System maintains a database of employee specific information and payroll-related transactions, such as payroll checks, year to date balances, and labor distribution. Employees’ name and address information is stored in the Agris Name/Address System (NAM) and can be shared with other Agris System Software™ packages for creation of accounts receivable and accounts payable-related transactions.
In addition to system-wide modules such as Report Writer Features and Report Stream, the Agris Payroll Accounting System contains modules for: check design, labor distribution, magnetic media reporting, workers’ compensation, and EEOC Reporting.
