How to Send a Dataset to Support for Testing

There are times where support will need a copy of your dataset so they can perform the tests they need to resolve the issues you are inquiring about. Follow these directions to send the dataset to support:

  1. Copy your dataset and compress it

    1. Find your dataset path by going to AGRIS > Help > About AGRIS. Then click Yes to Print System Information.
The dataset path will show as the *CURRENT DATA PATH. Browse to the folder just before the numbered dataset folder using Windows File Explorer.

    2. Right-click on the numbered dataset folder you wish to compress.

    3. From the menu select Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder. This will put a compressed copy of the numbered dataset folder in the DATASETS folder (See examples in images below).

    4. Note: If Send to doesn't show as an option it is because the numbered dataset folder needs to be highlighted.

      1. The compressed file will be highlighted in rename mode after it has finished compressing. Press enter to save the file as-is. You can move the file if you wish.

  2. Sign in to the FTP site

    1. If your company does not have a sign in to the FTP site, have your support rep request one for you. If you do have an account, the username will be your organization's AGRIS Customer ID and the password will have been emailed to someone in your organization for who the account was first created. If the password needs to be reset because the email cannot be found or the person who received it is unavailable, contact support and we can put in a request to have it reset and a new email will be sent you. When you receive the password, please provide it to those in your organization who may also require it.

    2. Here's the link to the FTP Login Page: https://ftp.culturatech.com/login

  3. The login will place you directly into your organization's designated FTP folder. At the bottom of the screen clickThen locate and select the compressed file created during Step 1 to add it to the queue. You can also drag and drop files into the web browser to add them to the queue (on supported browsers).

  4. Once you have all the files you wish to upload added to the queue, click

  5. Once your files have uploaded they will show above the control buttons.

  6. You can use the buttons at the top to organize your files and folders.

  7. Let your support rep know once the files have completed uploading.
