AGRIS Customer Documentation
I didn't unblock my file before I applied the software update. What do I do?
Why this happens?
When you save files, such as a PDF or a ZIP file, from a remote location (eg from the internet), Windows tries to protect our machine by blocking it using the Alternate Data Streams (ADS) technology.
To check if a file is blocked, just look at its properties, as shown in the picture below. From here, you can unblock it.
HOWEVER... what if I didn't check before I installed AGRIS... now what?
Options you have:
- Uninstall AGRIS and reinstall after following the directions here to unblock the downloaded file and try again.
- Use a Microsoft Powershell script to confirm all files in the AGRIS folder are unblocked.
- Run script.
- Restart server.
Both options are documented well in the following web sites.
