Chapter 8_New Batch Activity – Multiuser CINCH 18.54

This chapter describes an enhancement to CINCH batches. We have updated our batch process to work like GP's SOP/POP batch activity. There were no UI changes for this feature. An activity record is simply written to the new CINCH Batch Activity table (IRCSBatchActivityMSTR) when in use. Batches that are in use can not be posted in Batch Entry or selected in Grain Series Post. Batches that are posting or selected to post can not be selected in transaction entry windows. (CIN-5884)

1. Batch Entry

2. A user can view and print the batch edit list for a batch in use.

3. A user cannot post a batch if activity records exist, or the batch is selected in Grain Series Post.

4. Grain Series Post

5. Displays all grain batches but

   the system will not allow the user to select a batch with batch activity records.

6. All Transaction Entry windows

7. Multiple users can select and add transactions to the same batch. Each user of a batch will have their own batch activity record.

8. Users cannot select a batch if the batch is posting, or it has been selected in Grain Series Post.

9. If a batch is removed/cleared, changed or the transaction window is closed, the system will remove the activity record for the batch/user and add an activity record, if the window is not closed, for the new batch/user, if a batch is entered/selected.
