PDF's not opening for Contracts, Tickets, Settlements, or Invoices

  • Check the version of AGRIS and update if necessary

    1. There can be issues if AGRIS is not running the most recent version

    2. Delivery sheets won't work unless you have AGRIS 20.2 and higher and have a graphic form set as default

  • Make sure the form is an active/graphic form inside Agris

    1. If invoice PDF’s work but not credits, it’s probably due to Credit Memos not being set to the default form.

      1. Graphic invoice form needs to also be set for manual invoices

    2. The Form must be on the updated report engine.

  • All forms for the document type discussed must have a default set for the dataset

    1. You can set one active form for multiple contract types, but verbiage will be the same

    2. You can set a default to each corresponding contract type

    3. If you don’t want the form to print out as paper, you can set the device output to “N” and it’ll still open in MYG

    4. You can enable Override so Agris users have the option to choose what form to print when working in Agris

    5. You can still set user-defined default forms if the active/graphic form is set as the dataset default

If setting the default for invoices…. ALL invoice form types must have a default (credit memos, cash, etc)

  • Ensure that UNC data path in the Agris.INI file is set correctly

    1. The Agris UNC Datapath is required ex:\\servername\sharename\agris\datasets

    2. Please reach out to Greenstone support if assistance is needed to do this

  •  The agent service user should be in the same security group as that of the Agris COM+ service that creates the PDF.

Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Component Services > Computers > My Computer > COM+ Applications and right click on Agris_ABS and click Properties. Click on the Identity tab. It should be set to This User and show the account that is being used. Then you just need to make sure the AGRIS-PSQL Agent Web Service is set to Log On with that account by going to Services, finding the AGRIS-PSQL Agent Web Service, The far right column will show Log On As. If it says Local System it needs changed to the account you found being used on Agris_ABS.
