This is how we can get around a bad Com1 and use Com2 as the single legal for trade port.  The setting can only be set from the front panel.  Make sure number of printers stays set at 1 in this case.

 

Setup option is in 780 front panel config only.

PRINTER - Added a setup option to select the COM port to use for printer 1 when the number of printers is set to 1. The port number can be selected on a second page of printer settings in configuration. If set to 2, the setting is included in the configuration printout.
