When converting a dataset you may see a dataset validation button.

What will this option do?

Enables the system to check indexes and table structure in certain conditions to verify your dataset is operating at optimum levels.

How does this option work?

  • From the Utilities>Diagnostics menu or when converting to the latest version of AGRIS the dataset you have the option to validate the dataset.

  • The system will then verify that the dataset is in working order...

  • If an issue is found the system will then prompt you to take the proper actions for next steps to correct issues found.

NOTE:  Before fixing issues using the verify option ensure you have a proper backup in place prior to correcting the found issues.

Helpful Hints:

You can rerun the verify option at anytime to ensure you are ready to make the corrections to the dataset.
