How to utilize Table Finder (a SmartList Builder functionality).

Initial Conditions

SmartList Builder would need to be installed to utilize Table Finder. It is highly recommended to utilize SmartList Builder as it allows you to easily build custom reports.

1. In any window, go to Tools >> Table Finder

2. Table Finder shows you all the tables for a window. Selecting a table from the left will display all the available fields on the right.

3. Selecting the Create SmartList button, would create a SmartList pulling all the fields in the selected table.

Example: IRGNPurchCtrWORK table selection shown from the screenshot, the SQL Script is defined as: select * from “selected table”. (* meaning “all”)

(warning) This functionality is not recommended for use with Report Windows. Reports utilize TEMP tables and require you to enter information to print the report.
