Have you seen this error “You do not have security privileges to view all of the tables used in this SmartList.”? You know you are a power user, or have been granted access through user security. The next thing the system administrator can check is the company table security.
Microsoft Dynamics GP>>Tools>>Smartlist Builder>>Security>>SQL Table Security
Enter your system password
Select your database on the left
Select the tables you wish for that company to be able to use on the right. You can select tables or views. [Note: Further security can be setup per user in user security using roles and tasks.]
Most of these should default access when installed, however if you create Smartlists using tables from a third party product, it may not have defaulted to allow the third party product tables.
This does not change your user security. A power user will be able to use the Smartlist, and only those with the correct user securities.
