What is Inventory?

The Agris Inventory Management System (INV) is a modular package which may be integrated with other Agris System Software™ packages to maintain a centralized database of inventory related transactions. Inventory Management is commonly referred to by the three-letter abbreviation INV.

What is Inventory used for?

Use the Inventory Management System to add inventory records for new merchandise and services, adjust inventory quantities and/or values, add new and maintain existing manufacture orders, manufacture finished products, transfer products from location to location and/or item number to item number, maintain selling prices. add new purchase orders and maintain existing purchase orders, add stock additions to increase the on hand and decrease the on order quantities, maintain stock additions, update selling prices, add sales orders and maintain existing sales orders, record shipments, invoice entry of open sales orders, delivery tickets, service labor and regular merchandise, and invoice corrections and return of goods.
