In-Transit IN

Inbound tickets that have estimated weights. Increase in-transit in and does not effect unpaid or paid co-owned grain. Total in-transits are included on the Standard Inventory Valuation Report.

 

In-Transit OUT

Outbound tickets that are put on hold, or outbound transfer tickets with estimated weights. Increase in-transit out, decreases stock on hand. Total in-transits are included on the Standard Inventory Valuation Report.

 

Terminal Storage

Outbound tickets placed in terminal storage. Represents physical movement of owned grain from your elevator to another company's elevator. A terminal storage ticket reduces Stock on Hand, increases Terminal Storage and reduces company owned-paid. Terminal storage is included in the Standard Inventory Valuation Report.

 

Stock on Hand

Total stocks in the elevator at this time. Reflects activity from inbound and outbound tickets from categories above and below.

 

Adjustments

Shrink, dockage, tickets that are backdated. (If using gross bushes - defined in setup).

 

Hold

Temporary application type for inbound tickets. Increases Stock on Hand. Treated as an obligation to the elevator. If using OneWeigh, tickets automatically go to On Hold until directed to another application.

 

Grain Bank

Increases Stock on Hand and is considered an obligation to the elevator.

 

Open Storage

Increases Stock on Hand and is considered an obligation to the elevator.

 

Customer Warehouse Receipts

When grain is transferred from open storage to Warehouse receipt, it decreases Open Storage and increases Warehouse Receipts. This is an obligation to the elevator.

 

Company Warehouse Receipts

When receipt is issued, Company Warehouse Receipts are increased, Co-Owned Paid is decreased. Receipts are not included on the Standard Inventory Valuation Report.

 

Co-Owned Unpaid

Unsettled (no disbursement completed) bushels applied to a contract, could be priced or un-priced depending on the type of contract. Stock on Hand was increased during ticket entry.

 

Co-Owned Paid

Stock on Hand less obligation (unpaid co-owned included).

 

Delayed Price

Application type at ticket entry time (to be priced at a later date). Often referred to as no price established transactions. Added to Stock on Hand and included in Co-Owned.
