From either a command prompt or the RUN command, type the UNC for your network share using the server's fully qualified host name.
Example:
myservername.domain.ad.cmu.edu\mysharename
When prompted for your username and password, you will need to specify the AD domain username and password like this:
domain\USERNAME
PASSWORD
