\uD83E\uDD14 Problem

I just installed Agris on a new machine and am coming across this error: File not found W3btrv.dill when launching Agris.

\uD83C\uDF31 Solution

This error indicates that Zen/PSQL is NOT installed or if in a MSSQL environment missing database type=SQL within the Agris.ini file

  1. Check to ensure the Actian PSQL/Zen is installed on the machine. (Search Add/remove programs within windows search bar.”)

  2. If it is not installed, go to the Agridist folder on the server and get the needed files and install Zen/PSQL

  3. If you are in a MSSQL environment, open the Agris.ini file typically located within C:\Apps\AGRIS

  4. Scroll to the bottom and enter Database Type=SQL

  5. Launch Agris again and should no longer get the error.
