When were customers notified of this transition?

Customer notification about our transition to GreenstoneSystems.com > Customer Resources were sent out on two separate occasions:

  • 3/27/2023 [Subject: New Resources from Greenstone]

  • 4/13/2023 [Subject: 🔎 Check Out Greenstone's Customer Resource Center]

When did Greenstone Communities become inaccessible?

Greenstone Communities was phased out on March 31, 2023.

  • Greenstone Community page redirected users to http://GreenstoneSystems.com > Customer Resources on May 1, 2023.

  • Greenstone Community users were deactivated on May 1, 2023.

What was Greenstone’s reasoning for getting rid of Greenstone Community?

In an effort to provide access of our information to all of our customers, Greenstone decided to relocate the information from Greenstone Community to our http://GreenstoneSystems.com page which is a public view and would not require a unique login.

 

When navigating to http://GreenstoneSystems.com > Customer Resources you will find all the same information as you did from Greenstone Communities:

  • Customer Support Hours of Operation

  • How to Contact Customer Support

  • Link to our Customer Documentation on our Knowledge Base

  • Link to “What’s New” and Install Information on our Knowledge Base

I’ve used Greenstone’s Knowledge Base before and it doesn’t have the information I am looking for, how can I get the help I need?

Greenstone has been making strong efforts to create a more robust documentation center for our customers to use.  New articles are being added daily to provide guidance on best practices, detailed information on new features, and troubleshooting guides for common issues.

 

As always, you may submit a support case to Greenstone’s Support Team to address any questions/concerns you may have. Learn how to submit a support case here.

I used Greenstone Community to track my support cases, how can I access this information going forward?

The transition to http://GreenstoneSystems.com does mean that you will no longer be able to view your cases.  However, you should still be receiving emails from us whenever there are updates on your support cases, so you can continue to track progress.

 

We understand this change may come as inconvenience to you, with careful consideration, our decision to make this transition to http://GreenstoneSystems.com was in an effort to encourage the expansion of shared knowledge to all of our customers.
