Combining Two Name Id's

Overview

Use this job aid to combine a name Id and all of the name Id's activity with another name Id. This should be done when no one else is working in Agris and you have a good backup.

To combine two name id's:

1. From the Toolbar, click Name and Address .
2. From the Name and Address menu, select Name/Address Maintenance, and then select Combine Two Name Id's. 
3. Next a warning pop up screen will show, as pictured below, read and follow if necessary before continuing. Click OK.   
4. In the Original Name Id box, type in the first name Id or click Lookup or type * and press Enter to search for the name Id you want to combine.
5. In the Combine With Name Id box, type in the name Id or click Lookup or type * and press Enter to search for the name Id you want to combine with. Click OK.
6. In the Printer box, type the number associated to the place you want your report to print to.  Note:  Recommend selecting printer 5 due to speed and memory issues.
7. In the Print Type box, type the number associated to the characters per inch to print the report in. The default for this box is 1.
8. In the Copies box, type the number of copies of the report you want to print. The default for this box is 1.
9. In the Pages From and To boxes, type the page number range you want to print the report for. Leave the boxes blank to print all pages.
10. Click OK. 
11. Press Esc until the Toolbar becomes active.
