Overview

You can use the Financial Analysis tab to determine the financial results for a generated crop plan, and to compare multiple crop options within a single crop plan generated for a land entity. The Analysis tab is automatically updated each time a recommendation is generated, or when any of the recommendation data is changed.

To use the Financial Analysis tab:

  1. From the Toolbar, select AGY for AgroGuide.

  2. From the AgroGuide menu, select AgroGuide.

  3. On the AgroGuide Tree window, select a client from the entity tree, and then select the farm, field, or subfield for the crop plan.

  4. Click the Crop Plan button in the lower left section of the AgroGuide Tree window to display the AgroGuide Crop Plan window with the selected Client, Farm, Field, and Subfield displayed.

  5. From either the General tab or the Advanced tab, select the crop plan to view.

  6. Click the Financial Analysis tab.

  7. Select the Summary option to view a summary of all the crop options within a single crop plan, or select an individual plan number to view or edit a detailed analysis of a single crop option within the plan.

  8. Select a Plan Option to view a summary for that Plan.

  9. In the Revenue per Area, you can adjust or change the Unit Price and/or Amount as well as any Other Revenue that the Client may have on this Plan.

  10. In the Expenses per Area, you can add another operation to the Plan.

  11. In the Price Level box, use the drop-down list to select the level to use for this crop plan.

  12. In the Price Schedule box, use the drop-down list to select the schedule to use for this crop plan.

  13. Click OK.

Note: Price levels and schedules are set up in the Inventory package. Individual unit prices for items on the sales order can be adjusted using the Sales Order tab.
