Deleting a Name Id

Overview

Use this job aid to delete a name Id. You can perform this procedure only if no transactions are tied to the name id.

To delete a name id:

1. From the Toolbar, click NAM for Name and Address.

2. From the Name and Address menu, select Name/Address Maintenance, and then select Delete Name Id.

   Open

   

3. In the Name Id box, type in the name Id or click Lookup or type * and press Enter to search for the name Id.  

   Open

   

4. At the Delete This Name Id? prompt, click Yes.  

5. At the Delete This Name Id - Are You Sure? prompt, click Yes.
