The AGRIS 17.2.0 release has added Install changes:

Remove Orphaned Program References (Uninstall - In certain conditions, a "BASIC #438 Object doesn't support this property or method" error is encountered) (AGS-1082)

AGRIS post install process, "Apply Optimization Changes", has been enhanced to identify and remove orphaned program references left in Windows Global Assembly Cache (GAC) by prior AGRIS installs.

  • As part of the identify and remove process, the results are written to GACCleanUp.Log file. This file is located in the AGRIS install folder, C:\Program Files (x86)\AGRIS\TEMP.  
  • These Log entries indicate whether program references were previously removed, removed by the clean up process, or failed to be removed.

Database Check - When installing the minimum supported database version will now be displayed. (AGS-1635)

In previous versions the validation for when or if installing MSSQL was unclear. The changes were added to remind users of the lowest supported database versions for the current release.  With this release the message has been adjusted to reduce confusion.
