Timeout Message Board

While using a message board you can select messages to last a certain amount of time and then revert to the Start Message.

To set this up go to One > Setup Information > Connection Summary > Select the correct Message Board.

In the upper right-hand corner, you will find “Timeout Value (Min, Sec)”. Enter your desired time into those boxes. The first box is for minutes and the second for seconds. Common practice is to set it between 20-30 seconds.

Next select your message you want the timeout set for and then check the “Timeout” box below and click “Save”.

In my example below it is set so that after the first weight is taken the message board will show the “Proceed” message for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds the “Start Message” will display again.
