1. Before keying in your first payroll of 2023, check for federal updates.

2. Navigate to: Payroll > Tax Tables > Federal Tax

3. Select the Tax Updates button in the lower right corner. Depending on your settings, the system may warn you that there is already a new table to download.

4. Selecting the UPDATE button will send a request out to the AGRIS FTP site to see if there is a more updated federal tax table than the one you currently have loaded. If this button is not there, you will have to manually update your taxes by hand; or upgrade to the latest version.

AGRIS Support recommends you check this before every payroll for the month of January. In previous tax years, the IRS released multiple updated tax tables before our elected officials finally settled on the rates.

Greenstone does NOT notify/update tax tables for state/local taxes. State/local tax tables are maintained by your accounting staff. Greenstone Support is available to assist in interpreting the state documentation to the AGRIS payroll tax table, but is not responsible for knowing when a state has made a change.
