The AGRIS 10.3.0 release has added:

SYS-53519  AttachToo - Document storage sub-types and attachment sub type security is now available.

This feature was added to address issues that customers face with document management systems that are not focused on the unique requirements of an agricultural business.

With this release, AttachToo has the ability to create attachment user defined sub-types.  This feature provides businesses the ability to protect and store document types for specific work flow requirements.  With this feature, the security model enables a user to add and view certain sub-types for a certain documents while preventing the ability to add and view other sub-types on other documents.  This security is independent of the existing "transaction security.  Stated another way, a user may have rights to view / edit a transaction but only view / add specific AttachToo document sub-types for the transaction. 

Some examples of using attachment sub-types to assist your business include: 

• Sub-types for Accounts Payable Vouchers (e.g., Bill of Lading vs. Vendor Invoice) enables your team to ensure all vouchers have the vendor invoice attached before paying. 

• Sub-types for Commodity contracts (e.g., signed Contract sub-type vs. "Other attachments") enables your team to ensure signed contracts are returned and filed in a timely manner to honor the business obligations. 

• Sub-types for Name Address (e.g., Payroll documents, Credit Applications and Tax ID Documents, General Name Address attachments) provides the correct level of security and protection for different uses in the business for accounts that are managed within the AGRIS Name/Address package.

1. Expands the capabilities of attaching documents for your business's specific needs

2. Secures sub-attachment types with a new security setting for each sub-type.  This protects valuable information by granting access only if the user has the appropriate security credentials. 

3. Automatically stores documents based on the assigned default sub-type when printing from AGRIS.
