Ledger Detail - How to use

Using the Ledger Detail view is easy and fun.

Step-by-step guide

1. Ensure your security and extended option are turned on for Ledger Detail or you can follow the steps here Ledger Detail - Steps to enable.

    

2. Ensure you have created SJI entries and posted these entries to the ledger after installing the license and before accessing Detailed Ledger Inquiry

   You Must Run SJI Entries after installing the extended option to enable entries to populate the ledger detail table!

    

3. Access Ledger detail through any of the following options.
   1. Account inquiry
      1. Select entry within the account inquiry - Ledger> Inquiry Options> Account Inquiry> Select account> Select Entry in account> Select Ledger Detail button
   2. Journal entry inquiry
      1. Ledger> Inquiry Options> Journal Entry Inquiry> Select Entry> Select Entry in account> Select Ledger Detail button
   3. Ledger Detail Inquiry 
      1. Ledger> Inquiry Options> Ledger Detail Inquiry> Select Journal Period
