Description

Provide a communication interface between AGRIS and Comdata Smart Solutions POS version 3.

Setup

Navigation: CFT > Communications > Comdata Smart Solutions POS

The Comdata Smart Solutions POS Menu option opens the Communications – Comdata Smart Solutions POS window

Access to this functionality is controlled by an extended option and user security. The CFT Comdata POS Menu option is not visible if the Pinnacle POS extended option is off. The menu option is disabled if the user does not have security access. Minimum security level is 3 (Process). This option may be put in a report stream and processed automatically.

The Comdata POS menu option requires initialization of the Inventory Management, Bank Management, and Accounts Receivable packages.

Select option 1 in the menu above to edit the Comdata Configuration options.

Select option 2 in the menu above to communicate information with Comdata.

Select option 3 in the menu above to display the historical communication details.

Select option 4 in the menu above to print the Comdata Communication Report.

Select option 5 in the menu above to see the most recent Comdata Communication rejection details for troubleshooting.

Option 1 - Comdata Smart Solutions POS Configuration

Navigation: CFT > Communications > Comdata Smart Solutions POS > 1) Comdata Smart Solutions POS Configuration

When this option is selected a screen is displayed that contains the names of the available stores with the capability to select a store, insert a store, and delete a store.

When Insert is selected a new Configuration file based on the Comdata template is opened for edit. This file contains the default configuration options and instructions for completion. When Delete is selected, after verification, the configuration file associated with the store is deleted. When a store is selected the corresponding configuration file is opened for edit.

Option 2 - Process Comdata Smart Solutions POS Integration

Navigation: CFT > Communications > Comdata Smart Solutions POS > 2) Process Comdata Smart Solutions POS Integration

The purpose of this menu is to integrate AGRIS with the Comdata POS System. Invoices will be received from Comdata Smart Solutions POS.

Option 4 - Communication Report

Option 5 - Recent Rejection Details

Navigation: CFT > Communications > Comdata Smart Solutions POS > 5) Recent Rejection Details

Recent Rejection Details is not a list of rejected import records. It is a list of communication failures with regards to AGRIS web services (web service import). If there is a communication problem with the web service, an error is written to this log.
