Adding Soil Test Data

Overview

Soil test data can be added to AgroGuide through the Soil Test Import function, or manually with the AgroGuide – Soil Test Maintenance window.

To add soil test manually:

  1. From toolbar, Select AGY for AgroGuide.

  2. From the AgroGuide menu, select AgroGuide.

  3. On the AgroGuide Tree window, select a client from the entity tree, and then select the farm, field, or subfield to which the soil test pertains.

  4. Click the Soil Test button in the lower left section of the AgroGuide Tree window.

  5. Click New.

  6. In the Soil Test Name box, accept the default name, or type over the name with a description of the soil test.

  7. In the Lab Identifier box, type the name of the lab supplying the soil test results.

  8. Click the Calendar icon next to the Soil Test Date box to select a different date, if needed.

  9. In the Sample ID box, type the number of the soil sample being entered.

  10. In the Longitude/Latitude box, type the location of the farm, field, or subfield to which the soil test data pertains.

  11. In the Notes box, type any additional notes about the soil test.

  12. For each soil test performed, type the results in the Test Result boxes next to the appropriate Test Name.

  13. Click Ok to save the soil test and exit the window, or click Apply to save the soil test and remain on the AgroGuide – Soil Test Maintenance window..

  14. You can also edit soil test data by using these same steps.
