Transferring Soil Test Data

Overview

Soil tests can be transferred from one client/farm/field/subfield entity to another. Composites cannot be transferred unless they have been saved.

To transfer:

1. From the toolbar, Select AGY for AgroGuide.

2. From the AgroGuide menu, select AgroGuide, then select a client from the entity tree, and then select the farm, field, or subfield that contains the soil test to be transferred.

3. Click the Soil Test button in the lower left section of the AgroGuide Tree window.

4. Mark the check box for the soil test to be transferred in the Soil Tests list. Un-mark the check box to de-select the soil test.

5. Click Transfer to display the AgroGuide – Transfer Soil Test dialog box.

6. Verify that the soil test displayed in the Soil Test to Transfer box is the soil test to be transferred.

7. In the Transfer To frame, select the Client, Farm, Field, and Subfield entities to receive the transfer. At a minimum, a Client identifier must be selected. Note: Soil tests can be transferred to a different entity within the same client, farm, or field by duplicating the selected entity identifiers in the Transfer To selections. For example, to transfer a soil test from one subfield to another within the same field, select the same client, farm, and field identifiers, but select a different subfield to receive the transferred soil test.

8. Click OK to process the transfer.
