Setting up a Watershed

Overview

Use this job aid to set up Watersheds.  Use watersheds for the setup of Farm/Fields/Sub-Fields.  This is used only for reporting. There are no pre-defined watersheds.

To setup a watershed:

1. From the Toolbar, select AGY for AgroGuide.

2. From the AgroGuide Menu, select General Setup, select Watershed.

3. In line 1, type in the name of the watershed. This field is 28 characters.

4. In the HUC box, type in the Hydrologic Unit Code.  This code will be assigned by the state at 8 characters.

5. Un-check Is Active to make the watershed inactive.

6. Click Apply, to save changes and/ or create new watersheds.

7. Click OK, to save all changes in the Watershed.
